I have to say --what I have seen from this tribe-- I have been *very* disappointed. I was hoping to find a good Christian group and I am disappointed in the tone and the meanness in what I have experienced and seen. Some people are very nice, but the sarcasm and meanness doesn't point people to Christ and I believe we are to strive to show people Christ. I know we all fail, but out right meanness is just not Christian behavior. There has been more friendliness in the running tribe that I read.

Hello Leslie. I don't agree with you with all that you say about this tribe. If I saw something about it totally out of charactor with christianity I would surely have said so by now.In fact I see it as a pretty good example of christians interracting with christians.
We have our say we restrain oursleves from full on attacks on every one and everything that is presented,we respect the moderators cautions when some of our enthusiasms begin to run rampant.
I've seen worse, much worse from those claiming to be christians.
Cristians are not neccessarily saints. We have our human "faults" and "failures" but we exercise controls on those when required by other members, notably, the moderator-m/z sussan
Surely, one of duties to the world is to promote those values that are given us through the scriptures, and I believe we do that through this group.
Good fellowship, good humour, and self control.
It's not always easy to communicate with people and specially through the medium of writing. Not everyone has the skills to express themselves. We have to dig deeper into what is said and give the other members the benefit of the doubt, even if we totally fume at the way it seems to be going.
Imagine what I'm experiencing from where I'm coming from.
I'm going to fulfill the prophecy of Revelation 18:21 KJV.The Judgement Day scenario. The highlight of our faith and expectations.
I need help to get to my vehicle at Kirtland airforce base and twenty four hours after that the Will of God is done. Our faith vindicated and the power of God displayed.
How do you think I feel about sitting back and listening to conversations which relate only tenuosly with that?
Do you see me jumping up and down trying to ram it into people heads? No.
Not because they shouldn't know. They will know, all in good time.
I appreciate your frustration at unfulfilled expectations of us Leslie,I regret your dissapointment in us.Be patient,we are friendly,we are christians, and we will change as neccessary as soon as our "errors" are exposed.
    Won't we m/z moderator?

I've been on this Tribe for a couple of years and I've experienced the full range. Quite honestly I haven't posted in months. I got very tired of the "here's my position, dig in my heals and not listen to what you have say" posts...not to mention the plethora of angry atheist posts who ask questions only to start fights and not listen. Not that this is the case across the board, but I simply don't have the time to keep up. (I found another site that serves this purpose better)

Hey Leslie, we should be ,as Christians winsome and attractive in our approach. When one talks about something so controversial it is difficult, thats probably why the running tribe is more civil, running just is'nt controversial.
But yes we should never get personal,no attacts on the individual. And Kev your right about the ones who just want to start fights, its difficult at times. But I have strong disagreements with some Christians on this tribe that will not listen to reason.Regardless we need to argue in a manner that is winsome and attractive.

Nah.Nah.Hang on a second.Arguements are ARGUEMENTS!That's when we show our stuff. Our approach winsome and attractive-o.k,but extending that to THE battle is overboard. We're HUMAN.It's a matter of which forum it's going to happen.I don't think THIS is the forum for it.I respect that.

That fine and all but when you make this point try and remember that Christ insisted that we wash the cup from the inside for a reason. Just saying, that if we want results we need to sit down and deal with each others problems before we go tryiing to fix the world to be like us. The first step is admitting that we all have problems and honestly helping eachother instead of always passing the buck, avoiding a topic, or sweeping dirt under the rug. Good luck to you or anyone who wants to start on that.

Simpson..Hey there bud..I agree with you.Ha HaHa..I knew you could do it.
Youré Right. We should HELP each other, and now we're helping the moderator so she can have a nice christian forum that she wants it to be.Right, suzzane?

It's her forum, and I thinkshe wants it to be a NON arguementative, quiet like,"tea party" sort of club, like the "real Roswell"forum.where real christians, talkabout real christian issues, like how much they love their mum.or how much it's a strain waiting for the rain to water their dying vegetable gardens, what name to call the new baby.Things like that.

The problem is that she's decided that she wants to have her "tea party" right in the middle of "Grand central station"new york city"so to speak. The internet Tribes network.Where predators prowl round looking for nice little honest groups to cut down and engulf them in the flames of their indignant righteousness, that they should be having a quiet little "tea party" while all the problems"of the world are unresolved and THEY have the solution to all the problems if only everyone would only listen, and no-one wants to listen to dribble.

It's the NAME of the group that seems to do it."Christians for the Lord".
It's like a rallying call,a flag for every militant christian on earth to congregate round and advance against the enemies of humanity. That's what seems to be the problem with poor MZ sussane having her "tea party" in the middle of "grand central station ". Ha Ha But I believe it COULD WORK!
              Let's be CHRISTIANS here.Let's make it work.Ha?
